‘I fear for his life’: Wife of Dr Kafeel Khan writes letter to HC Chief Justice

Wife of Dr Kafeel Khan wrote a letter to HC Chief Justice requesting protection. She said, “When i went to meet him in the jail, he told me that he was not given anything to eat. He is being kept in a very small barrack. Around 100-150 people have been kept in barrack. He is also being troubled inside the jail.” Dr. Kafeel Khan was arrested for allegedly delivering provocative speech. Dr. Khan was charged under the National Security Act (NSA). He was arrested from Mumbai airport by the UP Special Task Force. Dr. Khan was arrested over his anti-CAA speech in AMU in December last year.
