‘Unfortunate’: Kerala Speaker vs. Governor Khan on anti-CAA resolution

A war of words over a recent resolution passed by Kerala Assembly continues. The Speaker of the House defended the resolution which sought revocation of recent amendments to India's citizenship law. P. Sreeramakrishnan said that criticism of the Assembly resolution was 'unfortunate'. Earlier, the Governor of the state had claimed that the resolution has no constitutional validity. Kerala is one of the Opposition party-ruled states which has vehemently opposed the CAA and NRC.
