CENTCOM chief hails USS Lincoln crew but exposes the state of US carriers?

The USS Abraham Lincoln has come under fresh scrutiny amid concerns over crew strain after months of demanding operations. CENTCOM commander Admiral Brad Cooper called his August 16 visit to the carrier “awe-inspiring” and praised the crew’s resilience while supporting U.S. military operations against Iran. Cooper also said the Lincoln had reported the lowest mental health case numbers among the 11 active U.S. Navy aircraft carriers.
