Chaos at Knesset as Netanyahu gloats about Gaza war 'win'; Israelis protest, then this happens...

A tense plenary session of the Israeli Knesset on Monday erupted into chaos during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address on Gaza’s post-war future and Israel’s security challenges. Netanyahu discussed the disarmament of Hamas, regional threats from Gaza and Iran, and the need for broad consensus on an independent inquiry into the October 7 attacks. The session was repeatedly interrupted by opposition lawmakers, forcing Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana to expel several members, including Yesh Atid’s Naor Shiri and Debbie Beton. Relatives of victims of the October 7 attack also staged a silent protest, turning their backs to Netanyahu while holding photos of those killed. The unrest unfolded against the backdrop of the recently implemented Trump Plan peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, which includes a ceasefire, prisoner releases, and humanitarian aid into Gaza.
