China threatens U.S. over Taiwan ties; Terms incursion ‘combat readiness patrol'

• One day after sending 30 Chinese warplanes into Taiwan air defence zone, the Chinese military has issued a statement threatening U.S. for its bonhomie with the island nation. China said that it has conducted combat readiness patrol in the sea and airspace around Taiwan. "The exercises had taken place in recent days and were a necessary action against U.S.-Taiwan collusion,” said People’s Liberation Army Eastern Theatre Command. Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, a Beijing body, also warned in a press conference that it was very dangerous for the U.S. to connive in the separatist activities conducted by Taiwan secessionists.
