About 6 lakh students gave the re-examination of Class 12th Economics paper on April 25. The re-exam was held across 4,000 centres. The paper was cancelled by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) after it was confirmed that the question paper was leaked. Class 10th Mathematics question paper was also found to have been leaked but the CBSE decided not to hold its re-exam since it did not notice any impact on the exam outcome in its evaluation. The decision of re-examination had caused massive outrage among students who took to the streets in protest.
