Watch: SII CEO gets Covid vaccine on Day 1, says 'endorsing safety, efficacy'

- Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India, was vaccinated on India's Day 1 of immunisation against Covid-19. SII, the world's largest vaccine-maker by volume, is manufacturing Covishield, a vaccine developed by Oxford University and pharma major AstraZeneca. Covishield is one of two vaccines cleared for emergency use in India by regulators. Poonawalla said he was endorsing the vaccine's safety and efficacy. Watch the full video for more.
