Chhattisgarh IAS officer was removed after a video of him slapping a man went viral. Senior IAS officer Ranbir Sharma, who was the district collector of Surajpur, had slapped a man for violating lockdown norms on May 22. Sharma smashed the man’s phone on the ground and slapped him. As seen in video, cops rushed to the spot and started hitting the man with sticks. Sharma later apologized after the video went viral on social media. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel took to twitter condemning the senior officer’s act. Watch the full video for more.
