Death rates across various Indian states are throwing up startling numbers. The number of people dying in some states, is way more than in others. While globally the death vs recovery ratio is somewhere at 4:2, which means for every death, about 4 people are recovering. In India, 7 people recover for every person who dies. Gujarat seems to be most alarming, where two people are recovering for every person, which is worse than the global average. On the other end of the spectrum are Tamil Nadu and Kerala, where death rates are really low.
