Covid update: China approves homegrown vaccine; CBSE exams delayed in India

From DCGI hinting on a vaccine to vaccination dry run in India, here are the top updates on the pandemic. DCGI hinted that a vaccine may be available soon. SEC will meet on January 1 to consider emergency-use authorization of three companies for vaccines. Meanwhile, CBSE boards exams for classes 10 and 12 delayed, will be held from May 4 to June 10, Centre announced. Also, China approved a homegrown Covid-19 vaccine developed by Sinopharm.
