Covid update: 45 lakh tests target; aerosols & ventilation; 300+ doctor die

• From Bharat Biotech’s vaccine target to increase in black fungus cases, here are the top updates on coronavirus. Government issued fresh set of guidelines to stop the spread of Covid-19. A notification by the office of Principal Scientific Adviser said that aerosols can be carried in the air up to 10 meters. The guidelines also said that well-ventilated spaces can reduce the risk of transmission from an infected person. Meanwhile, Bharat Biotech said it plans to expand Covaxin production to 1 billion per annum. The Hyderabad-based firm said it plans to produce additional 200 million vaccine doses.
