Covid update: B.1.617 variant in 53 countries now; ‘man-made’ virus posts on FB

- From India extended restrictions till June 30 to Facebook not removing posts on Covid, here are the top updates on coronavirus. Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Thursday extended restrictions in India that were put in place after April 29 order. The restrictions have been extended till June 30 to contain the Covid-19 spread. Meanwhile, Facebook has said that it won’t remove posts claiming that Covid is “man-made”. The social media giant said that it is doing so “in light of the ongoing investigations into the origin”. Also, WHO said that the B.1.617 variant of Covid-19 that was first detected in India, is now found in 53 other countries. Watch the full video for more updates on the pandemic.
