Covid update: PM Modi gets first dose of vaccine; India third wave warning

From PM Modi getting his first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, here are the top updates on the coronavirus pandemic. Registration of common people for vaccination began at 9 am on March 1. Those aged above 60, and those aged 45+ with comorbidities can now get vaccine. Meanwhile, chief of India's top science body warned of 'more dangerous' third Covid wave. CSIR DG Shekhar Mande said people shouldn't become complacent about precautions. Curfew has been imposed in Maharashtra's Hingoli from March 1 to 7.
