Covid update: India may buy 300-400 mn vaccine doses; PM Modi visits 3 labs

From PM Modi visiting vaccine labs to SII chief speaking on vaccines, here are the top updates on the coronavirus pandemic. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited three vaccine labs on Saturday to review Covid-19 vaccine development in India. PM visited Zydus Biotech in Ahmedabad, Bharat Biotech facility in Hyderabad, and Serum Institute of India in Pune. SII chief Adar Poonawalla said his company will apply for Covid vaccine's emergency use in two weeks. Poonawalla said India may buy 300-400 million vaccine doses by July 2021. Meanwhile, the Haryana government decided to keep schools in the state shut till December 10 in view of Covid-19. Watch the full video for more details.
