Covid update: Taiwan case-free for 200 days; WHO-China meet; ‘masks as vaccine’

From WHO experts meeting the Chinese to risks in grocery shopping, here are the top updates on coronavirus pandemic. Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said people should wear masks and consider it as vaccine. Delhi has reported record single-day cases on Friday for the third consecutive days. Meanwhile, Taiwan has not reported any locally transmitted case of Covid for 200 days now. Taiwan has 553 confirmed Covid cases with seven deaths reported so far. Also, the World Health Organisation experts held a meeting with the Chinese counterparts to discuss Covid-19.
