President Joe Biden said the United States is ‘doing a lot for India’ to help battle the second wave of Covid-19. Biden said he spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has been responding to India’s needs. "We're helping India, significantly. I spoke to Prime Minister Modi. What he needs most is the material and the parts to be able to have his machines that can make the vaccine work, we're sending oxygen. We're sending them a lot of the precursors.
