Goa reports 1st Covid death, CM says ‘old age, co-morbidities’ maybe a factor

Goa reported its first death by Covid-19 on Monday. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the man who died had asthma, blood pressure and other comorbidities. Goa's tally has been steadily rising since early June. 64 fresh cases were reported on Sunday in Goa. Covid cases were initially reported from port town of Vasco da Gama. Later, Morlem was also declared a containment zone. Goa has over 800 Covid cases.
