Haryana govt imposes Rs 500 fine on spitting in public, not wearing masks

Haryana government imposed a fine of Rs 500 for spitting in public and not wearing masks. Haryana's health minister Anil Vij announced the imposition of fine. Vij clarified that doctors, SHOs are among the people with the power to impose the fine. The decision by government comes to contain Covid-19 spread. Coronavirus cases in Haryana are over 1,300 with 17 deaths. Over 460 people have recovered in the state fro m Covid-19.
