IAF C-17 aircraft ferries cryogenic oxygen tankers from Thailand's Bangkok

- Oxygen tankers were loaded in Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft in Thailand's Bangkok. IAF to airlift the cryogenic oxygen tankers to Panagarh Airbase in West Bengal. Earlier, IAF airlifted three oxygen tankers from Singapore and six from Dubai to Panagarh. Several countries have come forward to help India amid increasing Covid-19 cases. Meanwhile, IAF aircraft are already ferrying oxygen containers within the country. An IAF plane carried two more empty oxygen tankers from Indore to Jamnagar in Gujarat. Tankers, loaded with oxygen, are scheduled to travel from Jamnagar to Indore by road. India recorded over 3.7 lakh fresh Covid-19 cases and 3,645 deaths in the last 24 hours.
