India: Modi govt says highest number of people inoculated with 1 dose | Covid

The Union Health Ministry said that India has inoculated the highest number of beneficiaries with their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine in the world. It said that about 60.7% of the adult population have received their 1st jabs. "The number of people who have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine in India and the number of people who have completed the vaccination schedule is the highest in the world," the ministry claimed in the Covid vaccination e-book on its portal.
