- NITI Aayog Member (Health) Dr VK Paul said India should prepare to give one crore Covid-19 jabs a day. Dr Paul said India needs to prepare in a way that this mark is achieved in a few weeks. “We will have to prepare to give one crore doses a day, it will be possible soon. We were able to vaccinate people with 43 lakh doses per day, so we should bring it up to 73 lakh a day in the next few weeks. The goal should be that every dose of vaccine reaches the citizens of India,” he said. Dr Paul heads the National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for COVID-19 (NEGVAC).
