‘Danger is...’: Watch Indian Navy chief’s message on Covid-19 pandemic

Indian Navy distributed ration among migrant labourers in Mumbai. Free ration provided to those hardest-hit in the Covid-19 lockdown. The Navy chief, Admiral Karambir Singh also issued a video message on the pandemic. He said, “We have realised that this danger is real, imminent and unprecedented. When Government of India took quick steps, we, in the Navy, took steps in consonance. We had stopped recruitment and brought changes in training. We stopped movements and transfers of officers and sailors. Our work was focused on national security, health services, and essential services. We halted tasks requiring collection of many people.” Watch the full video for more.
