Maha joins wagon of states to back Centre's no deaths due to oxygen crisis claim

Maharashtra became the latest state to back Centre’s claim of no deaths due to oxygen crisis. Ministers of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh & Tamil Nadu have already made similar claims. Meanwhile, BJP's Sambit Patra said onus was on states & UTs to report on Covid fatalities. Countering attacks by opposition, Patra added that the data wasn't generated by the Centre. On Tuesday, Union health minister countered opposition's criticism of handling of the 2nd wave. Mansukh Mandaviya responded to charges on Covid stats, oxygen & drug shortage and vaccine policy.
