‘Masks made of bedsheets given to us’: Siliguri doctors slam administration

Doctors in North Bengal Medical College in Siliguri, West Bengal have alleged that they are not being given proper kits to keep themselves safe. A doctor said that they were provided with masks made of bedsheets and later also given raincoats and sunglasses for use in hospital. He said that healthcare workers need proper protection to ensure that they do not become carriers of the disease. West Bengal has recorded 22 positive cases of the pandemic so far while 2 people have also died due to the pandemic.
