A migrant worker, who was hoping to reach Bihar on his bicycle, was stopped at the Delhi-Faridabad border by cops. The migrant said he wanted to visit his native place due to a death in the family. The cops, however, did not allow the migrant to pass. “We had allowed one person after he showed us the death certificate, but we are not sure about the rest,” police said. Lockdown has restricted movement across borders in view of Covid-19 spread. Migrants have been out of jobs due to lockdown and unable to return home.
