'No science behind delaying 2nd dose': Owaisi slams Centre over vaccine shortage

  • AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed Centre over shortage of Covid-19 vaccine doses. Owaisi said Modi govt's policy led to the shortage and so they are delaying the second dose. “Indians are ready to get vaccinated but the Modi government is not vaccinating them. Abolish the CoWIN requirement and start walk-in vaccination for all. In India, 300 million vaccine doses should be administered per month. Why isn't the government invoking compulsory licensing of Covid vaccines. You lied to people and now asking them to get the second dose after 12-16 weeks. There's no science behind delaying the second dose, it's just because of shortage,” he said.
