Omicron scare: India’s fourth case of Covid-19 variant detected in Maharashtra

India has confirmed its fourth case of Omicron variant of coronavirus (Covid-19). It comes hours after a senior citizen from Gujarat was found infected with Omicron. The infection has been reported in a 33-year-old man from Maharashtra. The man has a travel history to Cape Town in South Africa, reports said. The third known case of the Omicron Covid-19 variant in India came to light from Gujarat. A man from Jamnagar, who had returned from Zimbabwe, tested positive for the variant. The first two cases of the Omicron variant in India were reported from Karnataka. Watch the full video for more.
