  • Serum Institute of India has said that Covishield will be sold at 400 a shot to states and 600 to private hospitals. Serum said its vaccines will still be more affordable than foreign jabs, which cost anywhere from 750 to 1,500 a shot. The announcement comes days after the Central government allowed state governments and hospitals to buy vaccines directly from the manufacturers. The Centre’s policy says that 50% of the vaccine doses will be reserved for the centre and the rest will be divided between states and private hospitals. Watch the full video for all the details.
