Watch: 124-year-old woman administered Covid vaccine in J&K's Baramulla

- A centenarian from J&K's Baramulla district was administered Covid-19 vaccine. Rehtee Begum, a resident of Shrakwara Block Wagoora, is said to be 124 years old. J&K's Dept of Information & PR (DIPR) put out a tweet about the woman & her age. Medical Officer at Primary Health Care (PHC) Shrakwara, Dr Tajamul Malik said, “Yesterday, our team vaccinated a 124-year-old woman during a door-to-door campaign. Today, we sent our medical team to check on her. She is hearty & healthy. Vaccine is the need of the hour, we need to vaccinate ourselves to stay safe.” Begum got her first jab during a door-to-door vaccination campaign on Wednesday. A total of 9,289 people across 20 districts of J&K were vaccinated during the campaign.
