Hundreds in Karnataka violated Covid-19 lockdown norms to attend funeral of a horse. A large gathering was seen in Maradimath area of Belagavi on May 23. The deceased horse belonged to a religious organisation in Belagavi. People of the village took out a funeral procession and cremated the horse. Several people were seen without masks. A police case has been filed in relation to the incident. District officials sealed the village temporarily to check for new Covid cases. Watch the full video for more.
