'By end of May...': Covid prediction by UP minister SN Singh, lists govt efforts

- Uttar Pradesh continues to be one of the states worst-hit by the second wave of Covid-19 infections. The BJP government in the state has extended the 'corona curfew' till May 17. There are currently over 2.3 lakh active cases in UP. As in other parts of the country, shortage of medical oxygen and other key supplies continue to haunt patients and their kin. Against this backdrop, minister Sidharth Nath Singh sheds light on the Yogi Adityanath administration's plan to control the outbreak while ramping up medical infrastructure at record scale.
