‘Will turn into a tsunami…’: Congress warns Modi govt over Covid second wave

- Congress lashed out at the Modi government and accused it of mishandling the Covid second wave in the country. Addressing the media, Congress leader Pawan Khwera said that if the government does not accept the second wave it might turn into a tsunami. Khera also attacked the government over vaccine wastage and added that the government failed to take into account a number of factors while planning the vaccination drive. The Congress leader also said that several states have been complaining about shortage of vaccines and added that the Centre needs to diversify the pool of vaccines.
