CPEC, terror: Sharif calls Pak-China brothers | ‘Evergreen tree of friendship’

China, a nation with scant regard for int'l law, earned effusive praise from Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif. On the 71st anniversary of China-Pak diplomatic ties, Sharif stated China & Pakistan are the names of 2 brothers. Hailing Beijing, Sharif said Pak & China nurtured 'the evergreen tree of mutual friendship' over the years. Sharif stressed 'no untoward incidents could dent iron bond', at a time when there've been numerous setbacks. Pak evolving as Xi's debt-trap diplomacy playground, but China paying for dealing with a state sponsor of terror.
