Kolkata Knight Riders beat Kings XI Punjab by seven wickets in Mohali. Sandeep Warrier got KKR off to the perfect start by dismissing Chris Gayle and KL Rahul early on in KXIP's innings. Nicholas Pooran and Mayank Agarwal consolidated the innings with a 69-run stand. Sam Curran's fantastic innings of 55 runs from 24 balls helped KXIP post 183/6 in 20 overs. Chris Lynn and Shubman Gill put KKR in the driver's seat with a 62-run opening stand. Gill played a brilliant innings of 65 runs from 49 balls as KKR won the match with two overs to spare.
