RCB defeated CSK by one run in a last-over thriller. After the loss, CSK stays at the top of the points table with 14 points. RCB now have six points but they remain in the eighth spot. Parthiv Patel's half-century and Moeen Ali's quick 16-ball 26 took RCB to 161/7. Deepak Chahar, Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo took two wickets each. In reply, CSK fell one run short of the target with MS Dhoni scoring 84*. Parthiv Patel pulled off a run out in the last ball to clinch the game for RCB.
