'Don't abandon...': Why Gadkari wants Cong leaders to stick to their ideology

Union Minister & senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari stated a strong Congress is important for democracy. Gadkari said a weakened Cong meant regional parties taking up the Oppn space, which was 'not a good sign'. The Union Minister made the remarks during a question & answer session at the Lokmat journalism awards. Recollecting the time BJP had 2 MPs in parliament, Gadkari said one shouldn't abandon ideology in times of despair. Nitin Gadkari encouraged Congress leaders to remain in the party and have faith in its ideals.
