‘Enough is enough...’: Pro-Putin rebel leader lashes out on EU's Ukraine aid, protects Hungary first

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned that few European capitals enjoy the level of security felt in Budapest, while sharply criticising EU plans to further bankroll Ukraine. He said the bloc has already sent €180 billion to Kyiv, approved an extra €90 billion loan, and now faces a new Ukrainian request worth €800 billion, excluding military spending. Orban argued Hungary must not be dragged into war or sacrifice its national resources. The proposal, discussed at “Coalition of the Willing” talks in Kyiv, includes public funding, private investment, and a US-Ukraine reconstruction fund tied to natural resources.
