Aamir Khan inaugurates Satyamev Jayate Bhawan

From all the donations collected from the TV Show Satyamev Jayate, NGO Snehalaya has managed to build a shelter in Ahmednagar. Last year, Aamir Khan had requested the viewers of Satyamev Jayate to send in donations in the name of Snehalaya foundation. By the end of the first season of this talk show on Star Plus, the NGO had managed to collect approximately Rs 1.13 crores. This money was used to build a shelter for helpless women, children and rape victims in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.
