Born as Ajay Singh Deol on 19 October in 1956 to well known bollywood actor Dharmendra, sunny is often referred to as 'Action King of Bollywood'. He made his bollywood debut with the film Betaab in 1983. Deol's films such as Border (1997) and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) remain some of Bollywood's biggest hits, thus making him one of the most successful actors in Bollywood.
