I choose films on my own, says Parineeti Chopra

Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra insists she has been getting work on her own despite having successful actress Priyanka Chopra as her cousin. Parineeti joined Yash Raj Films as a public relations consultant and later went on to sign a three-film deal with the company. "I got my first film because of who I was. And after I started getting awards, people started knowing me. I think directors come to me if they feel I suit the role," Parineeti told reporters at a recent interview. Asked if she takes suggestions from her sister before deciding on her film, she said, "I choose my films on my own. I chose them with Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma's help but whenever I'm in doubt I ask her." Parineeti will next be seen in YRF`s Shuddh Desi Romance along with Sushant Singh Rajput and newcomer Vaani Kapoor.
