Forest authorities in Bihar have rehabilitated over 40 migratory birds of a rare species. The Sanjay Gandhi Zoological Park is currently home to 42 injured birds that the zoo authorities had rescued from a nearby school. Officials said a branch of a tree had fallen in the Danapur Kendriya Vidyalya recently following heavy rains, injuring these birds. Many of the rescued birds are chicks, still unable to fly on their own.
