Preps for Eid-al-Adha in full swing

The preparations for Eid-al-Adha are in full swing. The festival would commence from November 6 and would conclude on November 9. Surge in the demand of goats can be witnessed across different parts of India. Director of consumer affairs and public distribution department (CAPD), Abdul Wahid Tak told reporters that more than 500 thousand goats are sacrificed on the occasion. Meanwhile, in Rajasthan, the locals of Islampur village are preparing to send their goats to various metropolitan cities for selling.
