Rajinikanth's 64th birthday: Fans double the celebrations with release of Lingaa

Fans in southern India have made elaborate arrangements to celebrate 64th birthday of the Tamil superstar Rajnikanth on Friday. And, this time they have double the reason to celebrate the event as it coincides with the release of his movie "Lingaa". Streets have been decked up with huge cut-outs of Rajnikanth. Fans were seen pouring milk on his cut-outs to wish for his long life. His fans in the IT hub of Bangalore took out a huge rally to commemorate the day. Lingaa is a Tamil action thriller which will see Rajnikanth playing double role, and has been paired opposite Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha. Fans thronged theatres to catch the first show of Lingaa and cut cakes to celebrate the birthday of the superstar.
