Rajinikanth turns 61

Superstar Rajinikanth is celebrating his 61st birthday today. Scores of Thalaivar fans have lined up special pujas and charitable activities through the day. However, Rajni is expected to keep his birthday a low-key affair due to his recent kidney surgery. The actor, with at least 150 movies to his credit, was honoured with the Padma Bhushan Award in the year 2000. Famous for his style statements, Rajinikanth's fans want 'December 12' to be better known as 'World Style Day'.
