'Sweet dish' fair

Thousands of foodies thronged a fair serving several varieties of the Indian sweet dish halwa in Coimbatore. The fair organised by 'Krishna Sweets', a private sweet manufacturer aimed at creating awareness about the different varieties of halwa. Over 60 dishes of the sweet halwa were displayed at the fair. The specialties included halwa made of apple, apricot, baby corn, beet root, carrot, tomato, cheery, chocolate, coconut, dates and dry fruits and nuts.
