Questionable statue of Diego Maradona unveiled in Kolkata

After the recent debacle over Cristiano Ronaldo's odd-looking statue earlier this year, it seems that another football legend has received similar treatment. Argentine football legend Diego Maradona was immortalised in bronze Kolkata, India on Monday. Although the likeness to the 1986 FIFA World Cup hero was...questionable at best. Maradona was given a traditional Indian reception, including a 'tilak' on his forehead and later presented with a portrait of himself in his prime. The 57-year-old arrived in Kolkata on Sunday evening on a three-day visit.
