On Day 1 of Gyanvapi Mosque survey, a 52-member team video graphed the complex and opened 4 basement doors. Enough lighting was provided by the administration to survey the underground room. All parties present during the survey refused to indulge details on what was found inside the rooms. Meanwhile, politics over the issue continued with Congress and AIMIM training guns at the centre. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi while jibing the Modi government over Gyanvapi mosque land dispute said that India never had and will never have any Muslim vote bank and the community can never change regime in the country. Congress leader P Chidambaram on other hand cautioned on religious places and said no attempt should be made to change the status of any place of worship as doing so would lead to a ‘huge conflict.'
