A day earlier, Hamas announced that it was suspending the release of hostages, accusing Israel of violating ceasefire conditions and attacking Gazans. Following this, President Trump gave Hamas an ultimatum, demanding that all hostages be freed by noon on February 15, or "all hell will break out".
