Sneak Peek | New York Comic Con 2015

Thousands of people came out to the Jacob Javits Convention Center on Thursday for the first day of the New York Comic Con 2015.

Many of those in attendance wore elaborate costumes of their favorite comic book and other fictional characters.

Tickets are sold out for the four day event.

The Batman characters are enduringly popular at the event with many dressing as the Joker and his girlfriend Harley Quinn.

Young people who enjoy Cos Play were dressed up as characters from Japanese animated movies.

The event is for people to buy and sell comic books and features many panel discussions with actors and creators of popular films and television shows.
