Google CEO reacts to Facebook Metaverse plan | Sundar Pichai at #HTLS2021

Google and Alphabet Inc. CEO Sundar Pichai talked about the future of augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI). Pichai reacted to Facebook’s Metaverse plan. “Over time, rather than people adapting to computers and phone, computing will adapt more naturally to people,” Pichai said. “A part of that future is going to be AR,” Pichai added. Pichai said the future of AI and AR and its involvement in human life will be more natural and it won’t interfere with human interaction with real world. Pichai was in conversation with Hindustan Times’ editor-in-chief R. Sukumar. Pichai was speaking at the 19th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. Watch the full video for more details.
